for wordArunima is passionate about storytelling and can write both long and short pieces. Her interest lies in narrative journalism. She is comfortable with most digital tools used for storytelling and also understands basics of coding. Arunima has done sound designing for a documentary about Tibetan children with special needs. She has handled social media strategy design for Feminist Approach to Technology, and has created content for the same. She has also interned with organizations like News 18, Penguin Random House and has volunteered as a peer educator on sexuality education at the YP Foundation. Arunima has contributed to organizations like The Good Men Project, Rediff, Youth Ki Awaaz, Rural and Marketing Magazine and The Quint.

Ieshan Wani comes from Srinagar; he  has been working as a journalist for the past four years. He started his career as a reporter with a UK based news portal Kashmir Dispatch in 2012 where he worked as a multimedia journalist. His work has been published on several international and national platforms including Huffington Post, Global Voices, DailyO, The New Indian Express, New Internationalist London and Himal Southasian, among others. He has also interned with NDTV. Ieshan is interested in multimedia and broadcast journalism. His interests also include developing new and innovative techniques of storytelling. He is a versatile journalist who is capable of using modern technology to tell any story in print, radio, television or online media. He is interested in Indian politics, foreign affairs, conflict reporting, counter-terrorism as well as Defense and Maritime security.

sumaiya Sumaiya Ali has completed her BA from Lucknow University. She has worked for two years as a show host with All India Radio. Sumaiya’s work has been published in Scroll.in, The Quint and Youth ki Awaaz. She was the sound designer for a documentary on Tibetan art. During graduation, she has worked with the Editorial Board of the college publication Chandbagh Chronicle. She was also a member of of NSS and English Literary society. With an interest in dramatics she has represented her college in State level street plays. Sumaiya loves to travel and aspires to become a news reporter. Her interest is in television and online journalism.
